Happy Monday, sitters! I've heard from many of you that the summer busy season is starting to heat up.
I'm wondering - how do you recharge after a busy weekend of sitting and walking?
Unfortunately, we don't really get the chance to 'recharge'. In order to keep our current clients and accept new clients, we do not take days off. Once a year we try close 1 or 2 weeks so we can have some down time.
Being primarily an overnighter, just sleeping in my own bed recharges me. I've had 3 days in that bed in the last 33 days. And summer's coming!
I haven't had a real day off in over 7 years now and I never have the chance to spend the night away from home. Since I'm stuck here I had a really nice treehouse built about a year and a half ago. I usually get to sleep in it 2-3 times a week when I'm not too busy. It is so peaceful and relaxing and I am really glad I had it built.
